6/6/2021 Thank You Pastor Jim & Robin!

Today will be our last Sunday with Pastor Jim and Robin Szakacs. Pastor Jim will become the lead Pastor of Hope Ridge UMC in Concord Township in Lake County, on starting July 1st. Thank you to Jim and Robin for five years of faithful service and wonderful sermons in our church and from your home.

9/30/2020 Welcome Back to the Sanctuary!

Dearest Beloved,

October 4th is World Communion Sunday which is why we felt it appropriate to invite you back to our sanctuary that day so we may worship and take part in the Holy Sacrament together in person.

Please pray for our staff so that they may have the wisdom to plan these services with safety for all who will and are able to attend in person.

If you are planning to worship in person at the church, please read and follow the Guidelines Outlined Here so that we may encourage the safety of all our congregants and our church’s success. We do not want to open our doors only to later close again.

If you wish to worship with us from afar, we will remain streaming our Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. on our Facebook page

(linked above or here).

The monthly Dine In Days are still happening, every 3rd Monday, 4:30-6pm TAKE OUT ONLY.

Remember the verses Psalm 46:1-2,

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change.”

6/19/2020 Adding Beauty to the World

Thank you to all who ordered flowers in honor or memory of parents, family members, or those who have “parented” you in faith. The Geraniums and Marigolds certainly add beauty to our building.

Special thanks to Barb & Bob Vokac and Laura Landfeld who removed overgrowth from the garden and planted the bright and colorful flowers.

6/19/2020 So Fresh and So Clean

Praise God for a fresh look to our church parking lot.

We are grateful to Chris and Anthony Walden for treating our parking lot to a new sealant, striping, and handicap markings.

When we are able to return to worship, we will really enjoy this fresh clean look.
